How To Use Woocommerce PDF Invoices and Packing Slips Plugin –

In this video I’m gonna show you how to use Woocommerce PDF invoice and Packing Slips – Free Packing Slip Plugin

It is a free plugin that you can install directly within WordPress plugins manager. It also has a premium plugin available for more advanced features

BEFORE YOU BEGIN MAKE A BACKUP:
Before adding a new plugin or updating old ones, it is always recommended that you make a complete backup of your website. Specifically the database. There is an excellent plugin called Updraft Plus for WordPress but there are other plugins also available AND if you are hosting your own website, your hosting provider should have a utility to create backups.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

 

NEXT…INSTALL THE PLUGIN:

  1. > In WordPress Admin –> Click on PLUGINS on the Left
  2. > On the top left click the button that says ADD PLUGIN or  when you roll your mouse over PLUGINS it will say Add New
  3. > Search for Woocommerce Packing Slips
  4. > It will bring up all plugins. Select the Woocommerce PDF Invoices and Packing Slips plugin and Click on INSTALL
  5. > Once installed, click on ACTIVATE

The plugin is now activated and you will now need to configure the settings.

CONFIGURE THE PLUGIN:

  1. > Roll your mouse over Woocommerce on the left side of your screen. You should see a new link called PDF Invoices. Click that.
  2. > Follow the configuration options on the first tab (watching the video is faster)
  3. > Select the next tab DOCUMENTS and enable both the Invoice AND Packing Slips. Each link has its own configuration options.
  4. Be sure to select the SAVE button at the bottom of the tabs page for each selection so that you can save the new edits you just added.

ALL DONE!

HOW TO USE THE WOOCOMMERCE PDF INVOICES AND PACKING SLIPS PLUGIN:

  1. > Roll your mouse over Woocommerce then select ORDERS
  2. > Select the ORDER that you would like to create a Packing Slip
  3. > Scroll down on the order and on the right side you will now see a button that says  PDF Packing Slip. Click that to create your packing slip then simply print this and place in your packaging.
